Challenge
Philips is one of the world’s leading innovators in the convergence of digital health and technology. In early 2015, the company sought to bring together industry thought leaders, designers and developers from around the world for an intimate event held at the 2015 South by Southwest Conference. The purpose of this gathering was to create a participatory experience to discuss the latest thoughts and trends in the convergence of personalized medicine, digital health and consumer technologies.
Solution
Transform Group conceptualized and completed the Philips Health/Tech Thought Leadership Salon Dinner at South by Southwest to achieve the following goals:
- Recruit attendees in key verticals across the health technology space
- Bring together health tech entrepreneurs and innovators with key stakeholders and curated speakers
- Position Philips as an innovative player in the digital health landscape
We targeted more than 100 influencers in the span of less than two weeks, resulting in 67 RSVPs among the upper echelon of SXSW attendees, including:
- Eric Bennett, Executive Director, Brain Performance Institute at the University of Texas-Dallas Center for Brain Health
- Kristine Ashcraft, Chief Operating Officer, Genelex
- Dr. Chris Stout, Director of Research & Data Analytics and Clinical Professor, University of Illinois
- Ray Duncan, Tech Architect, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
Results
